Winnie has been everything we wanted in a family hunting dog. She has been great in the field with Sean, showing him where the birds are, even if he can’t aim the gun ! Just as important, she is just a sweetheart with everyone in our family, and we made the mistake of having our bed as open real estate, and she doesn’t get kicked off. She even has her chair to sit in and survey her domain. As you can see, we do get her out for exercise (2x a day). The girl needs her time to stretch out and run. #ourdogshunt

Colin just would like to let you know that our 6 month old pup just got back from Dokken's Oak Ridge Kennel for his shed hunting training. Dokken and his trainers have told me that this pup by far is the best shed hunting prospect that they have seen in many years. I have no doubt he will also be an outstanding upland dog as well. Thanks for breeding outstanding GSP pups.

Colin, I just want to give you a quick update on maverick. First of all I would like to say he's one of the smartest puppies I've ever seen. He learns everything quickly and seemingly with ease. Today I took him on a walk with a check cord out into a little Crp field just to try and introduce him to being in a field, this was the first time ever. Not a minute into our walk and he put his nose up in the air ran about 5 yards and locked up on point. I walked up flushed the birds and 3 hen pheasants got up. I could not be happier with this young pup right now. Here's a picture of him watching ducks land in a slough next to where we were walking. Thanks again and I'll stay in contact for bird and gun into for this summer.

My pup Elsa has been an absolute joy. She is out of Blaze Angus litter and is the brightest little dog I have ever had! I am really excited to see what she can do on grouse and woodcock next season. She did a great job learning the ropes on planted chukar and pheasants. She loves playing with her kids and harassing our cat. She has also been a great running companion for my wife as she trains to run a half marathon. One of Elsa's favorite things is cuddling on my lap chewing on her bone.

Our dog Jax is from Molly x Angus and could not be any happier! He is a fantastic companion and a very fast learner. Did well on his first pheasant hunt the last day of the season this year. I am excited to see how great of a hunter he can be. He loves deer antlers and we have been working on shed training. He is not gun shy at all and I love being outdoors with my best bud.

puppy's I have ever owned. She continues to grow and explore. I am sure we will

Bob W. From Puyallup WA. Bud is an outstanding little guy. The day after his trip home took him out for a walk and he found us a few wild birds at the age of 16 weeks. His breeding is really showing how smart this guy is. My hunting partners cant wait till fall. This Dog was born to hunt!!
Hi this is Kit, My wife and I bought Envy from you and your wife. I just want to say Thank you! She is so awesome. she loves the water she will swim in our pool and dive for her dummy. She loves the birds. Her nose for the birds is outstanding and her intensity in the field is second to none. She will hold her points for as long as I will let her. I just wanted to tell you again thanks for doing such a great job with her breeding. Kit and Tammy.
The boy has some skilz. He (trigger) is doing well. Vet said he has good hips etc. Took him out to get in a little bird training to a hunt club. I forgot to tell the guy that I was working a young pup so he put out 5 chucker's out over half of a field with no marker flags. The little guy ended up finding 4 of them on his own. we spent an hour in the field, but he used his nose well and found the birds on his own. For being only 16 weeks and never having a bird in front of him He did great. Steve W. MN.
Kristen and Mike MN. Piper is a joy to have in the house She is so smart its hard to keep up with her next move. She will be a wonderful field dog in the future.
Jamie C. MN. Indy is doing great!! She is definitely a cuddle bug. She was a super good puppy, she was kennel trained right away and never gave us any problems. She is just a great dog.
Blaze
(Dakota's Pheasant Ace Blaze) is doing very well. Her nature is different
from any pup I've had in the past. She is a very easy keeper which isn't
true of almost all my past puppies. Low maintenance. I work with her
every day. When the two older dogs point I hold Blaze and walk her in.
She gets a good view of the pheasant coming out and then I let her down to
smell the scent. She gets very excited. She has definitely connected
the scent with the pheasant. When I see a bird I let her down and she
definitely knows what she's smelling. One of these days a pheasant will
hold a little and we'll see what happens. She gets on well with the other
dogs, not continually harassing them as most pups will do. Bottom line
she's a good prospect and I'm anxious to see her develop. No formal
training yet just letting her be a pup. This week I'll expose her to a
live pigeon. She was very enthused over the road kill rooster. A
photo of her and Belle. They look like two peas in a pod. Mike Bowers, Your Dakota Hunting Connection.

Max/Blaze pup Ammo Owner Craig D. at 6 months of age on his first wild bird hunt Ammo Pointed and retrieved 82 birds for 6 guys. What an outstanding pup he is!
My
father tells me daily I couldnt have found a smarter or more perfect dog. My
parents and Sam are inseperable. Sam has been the best medecine for them she can
never be replaced. she only casts out 30 yards or so and then comes back for you
to make sure you keep up with her. In Oct my dad shot a woodcock and it fell in
the swamp him and mom were looking for it when we came to see what they shot.
Sam saw mom in the swamp ran to her and then showed her the bird. So you have
some of the finest Pups avaialable and I would tell everyone they'd be lucky to
have such a pup. William Y.

Hey
Colin and Erika,
I
just wanted to give you an update on Maverick! He is doing great and turning out
to be a wonderful dog! He has learned to sit for attention, off, come and
learning to heel! He picks things up soooo quick. He is sleeping in the kennel
at night. The first week he slept with me but he tends to hold it all night if
he sleeps in the kennel. I have been walking him like 4 times a day since he
needs tons of stimulation and excercise. We did our first hour walk today with
him heeling! I still have to work all the kinks out but he is doing really good!
He has met many many people and some other dogs that I know. He is getting his
vacs this week and then we can meet more dogs. I have exposed him to many things
now. I found out he LOVES the shower! He is getting big and his eyes really
resemble Blaze. I am so grateful I went with you guys! I couldn’t of asked for a
better dog! I will continue to keep you updated!

Hi Colin and Erica,
I just wanted to send you a quick note about Meeko! He is such a great puppy and we are so happy with him!! He's a very quick learner and the best puppy we have ever had/known. He's doing great with crate training along with obedience training. He also loves chewing on deer horns smile emoticon He adjusted very well to our home and absolutely loves humans! We joke that he's almost like a cat in the sense that he always needs to be right on top of us or by our feet. Thought you guys would like a little update on him! Hope you had a nice 4th of July!
